Pompano Beach

Pompano Beach is a city in Broward County Florida and is centrally located between Palm Beach and Miami.  Pompano Beach, referred to as ‘the Heart of the Gold Coast’, is renowned for its warm, clear waters, three miles of welcoming golden fine sandy beaches and calming breezes where residents and visitors enjoy the beachside playgrounds, water sport facilities, grills and picnic tables.  Pompano Beach is known for its excellent boating and deep-sea fishing made possible by an offshore living coral reef also available to scuba divers and snorkelers. The City has been listed as one of the top real estate markets and has featured in CNN, Money and the Wall Street Journal as one of the country’s top vacation home markets.  The City has experienced a multibillion dollar building boom thanks to the redevelopment of the areas near to the beach that includes the development of the Pompano Beach Fishing Village – currently taking shape.  The city is finalizing plans to rebuild the entire pier structure on Pompano Beach Boulevard.  The $7 million new pier will take the shape of a fish – fittingly a pompano.
